our story
The two co-founders Nora and Vera started mimycri after their volunteer experience on the Greek island Chios during the high time of refugee arrivals in 2015/16. They created mimycri because they believe that by changing perspective, we can turn challenges into opportunities.

Collaboration ?
While working together, we all learn from each other. We are open for new members and partnerships that want to have a positive impact.
Communication ?
mimycri wants to raise awareness, facilitate dialogue & reflection and motivate action. We believe that words and language are crucial in order to recognize injustice and to talk about it. We also believe that words need to be followed by action to change the world to the better.
Regenerative Action ?
We are using what is already there and give new life to rejected material. With everything we do, we not only strive to be environmentally sustainable, but to actually be regenerative.
Diversity ?
“We are one” is one of our claims and like most slogans it sounds a bit cliché and self-evident. However when you take what it means really serious, there is still a lot of work to be done until we live in a world where this claim is reflected in the way our economies and societies work.
